Pricing, Specifications and Availability
Prices, specifications and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Product descriptions may not reflect current technical information, and we cannot be responsible for photographic differences in product size, shape and color. SolarSys.biz orders generate an automatic confirmation e-mail, but the receipt of a confirmation only means that we have received the customer's order, and does not constitute an offer to sell. We may change our pricing, product description or specifications after any confirmation e-mail, but prior to shipment . These changes may be due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of any item sold, or prohibit a sale altogether. If such changes occur, we will notify the customer of any corrections to the customer's order prior to shipment , and will not complete the shipment process until we have the customer's approval. Published prices do not include shipping, handling, sales tax or insurance. We are required by law to collect sales tax on all shipments to PA, NJ, NY, and CT (at the customer's state/local tax rate) unless the customer file s appropriate documentation with SolarSystems & Solutions, LLC exempting the customer from sales tax.
Internet Fraud
In the interest of preventing Internet fraud, SolarSys.biz reserves the right refuse to ship any order that is submitted with an untraceable or free email address, or an invalid telephone number.
Payment and Shipping Information / Paying by Credit Card
The customer may pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. We do not add any credit card surcharges. Please see our Security and Privacy Statement for more information about the customer's credit card safety.
Shipping
We ship to locations within the United States by United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx (Federal Express) or United States Postal Service(USPS). We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages. Shipping charges include prepaid insurance up to the full value of the package . If a package ( DELETE ) is lost or damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to resolve the claim. For the customer's protection, all shipments require a signature at the delivery point.
Cancellation
Any cancellation must be approved in writing by SolarSystems & Solutions, LLC, and may be subject to restocking and other charges.
Xenon Burner Product Warranty
SolarSystems & Solutions, LLC, is a distributor for Specialty Light Sources, Inc.. The terms of the Specialty Light Sources warranty shall apply, and any warranty claims shall be arranged through Specialty Light Sources using the paperwork supplied with the Xenon Burner. Specialty Light Sources Warranty states its policy as follows.
Specialty Light Sources, Inc. warrants to the Purchaser of the Xenon-arc lamp (Product) that the Product will continue to ignite during 1000 hours of normal operation within the 12 month period commencing with the date of the invoice purchasing the Product. Specialty Light Sources, Inc. shall be liable only if the Product is used under normal operating conditions in equipment that designed for use of such Product and the equipment the Product is used in is maintained as specified by the equipment manufacturer.This warranty does not cover failures in the following cases:
a) Loss or damage to the Product due to abuse, mishandling, or improper packaging or storage by you.
b) If the Product part number and/or serial number have been altered or removed.
c) Loss or damage to the product due to improper equipment systems maintenance.
d) Loss or damage to the product due to non-compliance with recommended lamp filter replacement schedules.
e) Loss or damage to the product caused by power supply or coolant water system malfunctions.The Purchaser's remedies shall be limited to replacement of the Xenon-arc lamp failing to ignite with a new lamp of the same type and kind according to the following schedule:
- A Lamp that fails to ignite within the first 100 hours of normal operation will be replaced at no charge with a new lamp of the same type and kind.
- A Lamp that fails to ignite between 101 and 1000 hours of normal operation will be replaced at a prorated charge based on actual usage of the failed lamp with a new lamp of the same type and kind.
The charge for the new replacement lamp is calculated by multiplying the current list price with the ratio of the TOTAL HOURS USED (of the failed lamp) divided by 1000. A purchase order or credit card authorizing the charges for the new replacement lamp and shipping is required prior to shipment of the replacement lamp.The warranty replacement does not extend the original warranty period of the failed product.To return a product for warranty replacement by Specialty Light Sources, you will need to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by contacting Specialty Light Source Customer Care, return the product in the original shipping container prepaid to Specialty Light Sources, Inc., including reasonable evidence of total hours and conditions of usage."

Return/Refund Policies
Specialty Light Sources, Inc. merchandise that is purchased directly from Specialty Light Sources, Inc. by an end-user "Customer" which has never been installed nor used in any way in any equipment may be returned by the Customer in the merchandise's original packaging provided the Customer obtains a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number and ships the merchandise to Specialty Light Sources within 15 days of the original invoice date according to the following procedure. The RMA number must appear on all documentation and the return shipping label. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days after date of issuance. We are unable to accept returns without a properly issued RMA number.
To return a product to Specialty Light Sources, you will need to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by contacting Specialty Light Source Customer Care.

Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to Specialty Light Sources on returned items
If your return merchandise is accepted as never installed and unused by our returns department, we will post a credit to your Specialty Light Sources account within 24 hours from the time that the merchandise is accepted by our returns department. Each return is credited in the same manner as payment. If you paid for your order with a credit card, the credit will be applied to that card. You will be able to verify the credit by calling your credit card company. If you paid for your order with a check, a refund check will be issued within 10 business days from the date the returned product is accepted by the returns department of Specialty Light Sources, Inc. If you have a terms account, the amount of your return will be credited to your Specialty Light Sources account.
If your return merchandise is not accepted by our returns department as never installed and unused, the merchandise will be exchanged according to the applicable Specialty Light Sources, Inc. Warranty Policy Customer Information "

Force Majeure
SolarSystems & Solutions, LLC , shall not be liable for any delay in or impairment of performance resulting in whole or in part from Acts of God, labor disruptions, shortages, inability to procure product, supplies or raw materials, severe weather conditions, or any other circumstances or cause beyond the control of SolarSystems & Solutions, LLC in the conduct of its business. |
